Privacy Policy

Your privacy and the privacy of your crew are taken seriously. Here is exactly what we collect, what we don't, and how your data is handled.

Location Data

Location tracking in ArborIsh is completely opt-in. Each crew member individually controls whether their GPS location is shared. Here is what you need to know:

  • Location sharing can be turned on or off at any time from the Settings screen
  • GPS is only active during configured work hours — never tracked outside those hours
  • A crew member's location is only visible to other members within the same company
  • Location data is never sold to any third party
  • Location data is never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any external service
  • When a crew member disables location sharing, their location is immediately removed from the map

Account & Payment Data

We store your email address, display name, and app data (jobs, tasks, messages). Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. License keys are stored in our database tied to your email address.

What We Don't Do

  • We do not sell your data
  • We do not show you ads
  • We do not share your company data with other companies
  • We do not use your job or crew data for AI training
  • We do not track you outside of the app

Data Retention

If you cancel your account, your data remains accessible for 30 days. After 30 days it is permanently deleted from our servers.

Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your company data is restricted to authenticated members of your company only.

Terms of Service

By using ArborIsh you agree to the following terms. Written in plain language — no legal jargon.

What ArborIsh Provides

ArborIsh is a crew management platform for tree care businesses. We provide tools for job tracking, team communication, scheduling, and crew management.

Your Account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
  • You must be 18 or older to create an account
  • You own your data — we do not claim any rights to your jobs, crew information, or business data

License Keys & Payments

  • Standard plan: $49/month or $468/year (up to 5 crew members). Cancel any time.
  • Crew+ plan: $75/month or $756/year (up to 10 crew members). Cancel any time.
  • Yearly billing: Billed once per year. No refunds after 14 days of the billing period.
  • Free trial: 14 days. A card is required at signup — you are not charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time before then.
  • License keys are tied to your company and email. They are not transferable.
  • Crew members are covered by the company owner's license at no extra cost.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ArborIsh to store illegal content, harass other users, attempt to access other companies' data, or reverse engineer the application.

Termination

You can cancel at any time from Settings. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

ArborIsh was built out of a simple frustration: every crew management app was built for construction or generic field service. Tree care crews needed something made for them.

Plans & Pricing

Which plan do I need?
If your company has 5 or fewer crew members, Standard ($49/mo) covers everything. If you have 6–10 crew members, Crew+ ($75/mo) gives you more seats plus priority support and advanced analytics. Need more than 10?
How much do I save going yearly?
Yearly billing saves you the equivalent of 2 months. Standard yearly is $468/yr ($39/mo) — saves $120 vs monthly. Crew+ yearly is $756/yr ($63/mo) — saves $144 vs monthly. Both renew automatically each year.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — every new account gets a 14-day free trial. A card is required at signup but you won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time before then and you won't pay a thing.
What happens when my trial ends?
Your card is charged automatically for the plan you selected. You'll get an email reminder 2 days before. If you cancel before the trial ends, no charge is made.
Can I change plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time from Settings. Billing is prorated automatically so you only pay for what you use.
What happens if my subscription lapses?
Your company account pauses and crew members see a message to contact their admin. Your data is preserved. Reactivate any time to restore access. Data is permanently deleted after 30 days of non-payment.

Crew & Employees

Do my employees need to pay?
No. Employees join completely free using an invite link. Your company license covers the whole team — no per-seat fees, no matter how many crew members you add.
How do I invite crew members?
Go to Settings → Invite Crew → enter their email or copy the invite link. They tap it, create a free account, and are automatically added to your company. Done.
Can I assign different roles to crew?
Yes. ArborIsh has four roles: Owner, Admin, Manager, and Crew Member. Owners and Admins can manage jobs, crew, and settings. Managers can assign jobs. Crew Members can view and update their assigned work.
What if a crew member leaves?
Go to Admin Portal → remove them from your company. They immediately lose access and their location is removed from the map.

License Keys

How does the license key work?
After purchase, a unique key (e.g. ARB-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) is emailed to you instantly. Enter it once in the app under Settings → License. Your whole company is activated — crew members never need a key.
I lost my license key — what do I do?
Email us at hello@arborish.app with the address you used to purchase and we'll resend it right away. Or
Can I use my key on multiple devices?
Yes — your license key activates your company account, and any crew member who joins your company on any device gets full access.
Is my key transferable?
License keys are tied to your company email and are not transferable. If you need to change the owner of an account, contact us and we can help.

Privacy & Location

Can my crew see each other's location?
Only if they choose to share it. Location tracking is completely opt-in — each crew member controls their own GPS from Settings. It only runs during configured work hours and is only visible to members of your company.
Can I track crew without them knowing?
No. Location sharing is always visible to the crew member in their settings. They can turn it off at any time. We built it this way intentionally — it builds crew trust and it's the right thing to do.
Is my company data private?
Yes. Your jobs, crew info, and chat are only visible to members of your company. We never sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

App & Devices

What devices does ArborIsh work on?
ArborIsh is available on Android via the Google Play Store. iOS (iPhone) support is coming soon. It also works in any mobile browser — so your crew can use it today on any phone while the iOS app is being built.
Does it work without internet?
Basic viewing of cached data works offline. Any updates you make sync automatically when you reconnect. For real-time map tracking and chat, an internet connection is needed.
Is there a desktop version?
ArborIsh runs in any web browser on desktop too — just navigate to the app URL. It's optimized for mobile but fully usable on a laptop or desktop computer.

Getting Started

How do I set up my company?
After purchasing, open ArborIsh → enter your license key under Settings → License. Then go to Settings → Company to set your company name. Done — you're the owner.
How do I invite crew members?
Settings → Invite Crew → enter their email address or copy the invite link to share via text. They tap it, create a free account, and are instantly added to your company.
How do I create my first job?
Go to the Jobs tab → tap the + button → fill in the job title, client name, location, date, and which crew members to assign. Tap Save. Your crew will see it immediately.
How do location tracking and privacy settings work?
Each crew member controls their own location sharing from Settings → Location. They can set their work hours window — GPS only runs during those hours. Turning it off immediately removes them from the map.

Account & Billing

How do I cancel my subscription?
Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. No penalty, no questions asked.
How do I update my payment method?
Settings → Subscription → Manage Billing. This opens your Stripe billing portal where you can update your card, view invoices, and manage your subscription.
I was charged but the app isn't working — what do I do?
Email us at hello@arborish.app with your purchase email and we'll sort it out within a few hours. Billing issues are our top priority.

Troubleshooting

The app won't load / shows a blank screen
Try force-closing and reopening the app. If that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall from the Play Store. Your data is saved to the cloud so nothing will be lost.
My crew can't see my jobs / updates
Make sure everyone is signed in to the same company. Go to Admin Portal to confirm all crew members are listed. Also check that your subscription is active under Settings → License.
Location isn't showing on the map
Check that location permissions are enabled for ArborIsh in your phone's Settings → Apps → ArborIsh → Permissions → Location (set to "Allow all the time"). Also confirm Location Sharing is turned on inside ArborIsh Settings.
My license key isn't working
Make sure you're entering it exactly as it appears in your email (e.g. ARB-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). Keys are case-insensitive. If it still fails, and we'll fix it immediately.
